Skylit Lounge didn't appear overnight — well, it did, but only because we were up at 4 AM every morning for months. The idea was simple: what if a neighborhood bakery actually felt like a neighborhood bakery? Warm, unhurried, and genuinely good.
We opened our doors on Georgia Avenue with a mission to serve real food in a space where people actually want to linger. No fluorescent lights, no rush, no pretension. Just good bread, great coffee, and the kind of welcome that makes you want to come back.
Today, we're still baking at 4 AM. Still using the same recipes. Still treating every customer like they just walked into someone's kitchen — because that's exactly what this is.
